Business Traveler
An ok place to stay. The most important thing to me was that the bed was ok - neither dirty nor saggy. Family with Young Children
The staff was very friendly from the start, and the pool facilities were clean and user friendly which is a big plus when you are traveling with kids. The rooms are not in shape for the Holiday brand name standards, with rugs, bathroom wall paper, doorway frames, and appliances showing signs of serious deterioration. In my kids words "this room is not as nice as the other Holiday we stayed in Ocean Shores", which by the way was half the price of this one (those last are my words). ...read more

Hotel was very quiet and quite comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was ok, but considering the price, I am not displeased with the whole experience. We found a wonderful Japanese Restaurant a few blocks away. ...read more

If you are sensitive to smoke, stay on second floor but check out room first. Apparently, the first floor used to be smoking (and still smells like it).

Traveling as Couple
The people who worked there were mostly friendly but the hotel was not that relaxing. There were lots of children running around (great if you want a family stay!). The plumbing was so loud that when the people near us showered there was a high pitched squeal that we couldn't bear and it kept us awake or woke us up. The service was good, and while some people might view the fact that it was undergoing small renovations in the lobby as negative, I see it as positive because they are working to make their facilities better than before.
